Please look at another post for Comparative & Superlative

Superlative - Adjectives

Superlative: Adjectives

Note: con il superlativo se parla solo di una cosa e come questa cosa è il migliore o il peggiore, ect. Non si fa un paragone tra due cose.

1-syllable adjectives + est
If the word ends with Consonant + vowel + consonant
Then the last consonant is doubled
2-syllable adjectives ending in y: remove y + iest
Other 2-syllable adjectives + most (do not change the adjective)
3 or more syllables: + most + adjective

big: biggest; hot: hottest
Jane is the happiest person I know.
Joe is the luckiest person on earth.
Grammar is the most boring subject.
My brother is the most cautious person.
